Take a drag,
Breathe it in.
The poison sets,
And you won't win.
You might be high,
But your future's low.
Sensation's quick,
But death comes slow.
Another light,
And darkness unfolds.
A midlife crisis,
And your world becomes cold.
A foolish release,
Repeated mind games.
The brands might be different,
But effects are the same.
Take a drag,
Breathe it out.
A little stick of dynamite,
Only here to put YOU out.
