Troubles
I dream I’m in a hot air balloon high in the sky,
I let a ballasts drop,
One gone! Falling crashing to earth,
I feel my troubles fly away as the bag of dirt falls from my hands,
Instantly I rise,
Higher and higher.
The bag gone. A weight lifted from my shoulders,
I close my eyes and let the wind rush through my hair
It’s then I realize I’m not flying,
I’m a foot above the ground
And there are hundreds of bags weighting me down.
