Our last night together;
a night of no peace.
This is a perfect example
of who not to be.
This is the worst example
of how life’s supposed to be.
This is not how I
envisioned my night;
how I wanted to spend
my last moments with you.


I envisioned a more..
peaceful setting.
Ya know, serene.
I wanted this tonight
to be the one night
where it all went right.
I wanted to hear kind words,
speak a language we
never really here.
But this is how it is,
I guess.

My last night with you;
a night without rest.
Rest for the mind, the body,
no rest for our weary souls.
This is it.
Doesn’t seem so appealing,
now does it?
