Heads look up
Catching a glimpse
Jaws drop
In ultimate suspense
Eyes meet
Time stops
A silent connection passes
The tension bubble pops
Scattered thoughts are dismissed
One thought remains
Curiosity as to what
This fragile second contains
Unblinking stares
Hearts skip around
Pounding against chests
Time begins again
And the moment ends.
