The brown sparkly Winnie the Pooh cup
with its heart shaped handle
clinks against the other cups
as I remove it from the cupboard.

The stars twinkle as the light moves around
the spherical exterior.
On one side stands Winnie the Pooh,
caring, kind, and friendly.
On the other is Taurus the Bull, our zodiac sign.

Neither of us could resist it that day in the Disney Store.
Each time I drink Tazo Passion tea,
I am reminded of the special bond my mom and I share.

The author's comments:
i wrote an observation poem of my favorite cup.

A wonderful poem, I'm certain! I'm rather fond of poems that just observe simple things; they often represent something else (like your bond with your mother). I like the way you described the cup; I would love to drink tea from it!
