Less Than What We Are
I'm a liar.
 I say I'm not hungry
 But my stomach growls.
 I say I'm happy
But there are tears behind my smiles.
Was I lying when I said I loved you?

 I'm a cheater.
I eat less to be perfect.
 It makes me feel stronger.
 I pretend life isn't hectic.
 It makes me feel better.
Do you still think I was yours?

 I'm selfish.
 I pity over myself
 While others are dying.
 I auto-destroy myself
 And mother is crying
 Who's to say I cared?

I loved you. I was yours. I do care.
 I'm a liar. I'm a cheater. I'm a selfish. But I- I was true. You are a fake.
