Those feelings I keep bottled up,
Are eating at me
Emotions burst
They’re the slightest thing,
Sets off the trigger
The ghost of emotions past
Continue to haunt me
Stop! I yell
Why do I feel this way?
All your doing is hurting yourself don’t you know
My silent smile
Deceives you
For you have no idea
What I struggle with
What I hide

Behide shut doors

A splash of water
A tired face
Thoughts begin to fade
All is at peace once more
You see a smile
Your hear the laughter,
All looks normal
But is it?
I think not.
Although happy
Those thoughts only stay hidden for a while
