To Tell or Not to Tell

Am i stronger to reveal
or by a thousand tears hide
the severity of my struggle
the desire to simply subside
Is it selfish to want so dearly
to disclose pain only i know
and by such self unveiling
my misery others may follow
Do i somewhere deep inside
know the truth of my yearning
to no longer in ache stand alone
for others to feel this burning
Would i give unto them freedom
by at last exiting this cruel life
and in this act finally display
the secrets of my internal strife

The author's comments:
This is not exactly what i am experiencing, but it represents the choice of expressing the truth and hurting others or holding it in and hurting yourself. Also, the title and first lines are not intended to copy Shakespeare's work but to draw to mind and give a new twist to those classic lines.
