No Tears
I knew I wasn’t ready.
I hadn’t practiced enough,
Others were so, so good.
I got up anyway, started my routine
One I had done hundreds of time in class
But my nerves had taken over.
There go any chance of first or second,
But it’s double elimination.
I get up again, same as before, the nerves take over.
I knew I wasn’t ready.
I hadn’t practiced enough,
Others were so, so good.
Last place, no tears.

Aww I'm sorry but at least you can say you failed at a karate tournament because I know a lot of people that can't even say that (me included) haha
There's always a next time right?!
