Life on a farm

There was a time I had a rat
It was so cute and very fat
But I also had a cat
Boy did I have fun with that
I had some dogs at that time too
They liked to run around so free
And chase the cow's to make them moo
And run them through the trees
We also had a duck
He lived in our old truck
And a silly goose
That we all called moose
The day the cat ate the rat
Is the day our duck drowned
And the dogs went running through the town
Barking and marking their path
