To A Girl
Her smile illuminated the room,
 Stole my eyes,
And if love at first sight was real,
The four letter word was instantly
 Engraved on my heart.

The presence of this girl made the room
 Change to a dull haze,
And the space between her and I was the
True reason I could not breathe.

 I could see her-
The surreal image of the perfect girl-
But she couldn’t see the boy that sat in the back.
To my mind, the room began to enlarge.

There in that room, I realized
That my sub conscious thoughts had
Risen to the surface of my mind,
 - I now feel empty.

For a girl who had been the
 Perfect example of Peace,
 Love and Beauty could only
 Exist behind sleeping eyes
 -In a dream where perfection
To this extent could barley exist.
