The Depths of Silent Memories
Once upon a time, I let him go.
I knew what was right, my head told me so.
But my heart counteracts, it wants him to stay.
Do I really want it to be this way?
Now he screams, from the depths of silent memories.
The tears I cry are plainly seen.
He wants it to be just him and me.
But that isn’t possible, it cannot be. I want to be with him, but my father you see.
My dad says he’s no good, a bother to me.
I know in my heart that I love him, but it just isn’t right.
My head and my heart, in an internal fight.
