Nothing But a Memory
Sometimes there are things you wish to say,
but he just takes my breath away,
hes all I ever dreamed about,
as I lay there on the couch,
he doesn’t know how much I love him,
I just want him to know how much I need him
This world was so dark,
Cold, like new fallen snow on my soul,
My world is so bright now,
Like hes the sun to my sky,
I cant live without him,
Hes my life,
My true happiness lies in his hands,
Standing there, waiting for his love to flow,
To engulf me,
To drown my sorrow,
We are meant to be together,
You know its true,
And hopefully,
He doesn’t leave me…
With nothing but a memory.
