Humorism
Some believe in angels
I believe in laughter
to cut thru the dark
cloud hovering above my
head, to chase away
the nightmares that
still linger, it keeps us
close to one another
during hard times, sometimes
a laugh is shared with the
world or kept quietly
to yourself in the darkness
of your room, I believe
in laughter pouring out of
our souls to fill the world
with light, keeping the storm
clouds at bay, putting
to rest our deepest fears
helping us to fight what
lies ahead in tomorrow
a way to stop the hurt
stop the pain from spreading
cure the despair that has
crept into the hearts of many
a nervous laugh or a
quiet chuckle, sometimes
we can never stop so
thats why I believe
in laughter
