She doesn’t really care
I cheered at all your games
She wasn’t even there
I listen to your music
She tells you knock it off
I complement your thoughts
When all she does is scoff
I love the way you laugh
She ignores your jokes
I let you mess around
She slaps away your pokes
I care about your dreams
She never lets you speak
I grin about your grades
She calls you a geek
I’m captured by your voice
She’ll never understand
I’m the one who loves you
Yet she still holds your hand
