Dear Dad
Dear Dad
You may have thought it was blind to see,
Or that I hadn’t heard
Life’s simple lessons that you taught me,
But I got every word.
You’re the best coach I’ve ever had,
You’re told me how it is, but it’s very fair.
You’re always my true friend, champion and dad
When I need you, you’re always there.
My father is my hero,
As the years pass one by one
I love and respect him,
The best man, coach, friend, I’ve ever known.
You’ve been all these things Dad,
I hope that you can see
How much I treasure you,
You will always mean everything to me.
