Life in a Day
Wake up in the morning take your first breath
Move out of the warmth, you look a mess
Crawling to your shower
Time slips by its been an hour
Sun starts to shine you fully awake
Move downstairs to eat your pancake
Key starts the car fell young and free
Get to work feels like the school of before
At high noon you’re halfway through the door
Driving home trying to remember if you locked you door
Low and tired you move gingerly
Going up to bed tired and half dead
You close your eyes last breath until dark
End of time as you lay
You finally are able to fade away
