night

I hear the vague echoes of the night
how the shrouded heart swiftly beats
the rise and crash of the waves on sand
large and small footprints left in land
starry night to bright day
feelings words can never say
swirling colors of early dawn
cawing of birds early song
wrapped in sorrrows of the night
crimson tunes
silent plight
things left unsaid
never done
chances come with the rising sun
leave nought undone
for chances die with the setting sun
