November First
November 17, 2010
Cold and lonely November first,
Alone again,
I sit and watch it rain,
Slow and merciless the rain falls,
Seconds ticking by,
Each one feeling like another century,
Turning into minutes, then into hours,
Still not receiving a call of apology.
I feel like I might just fall,
Fall deeper and deeper,
Into this lonely November first.
