Selfish
Chasing the clouds and the stars. Looking for something new. Searching for the soul I lost to you. Do you ever think of me. In the dead of night. Do you hear my slient screams to you. Do they make you think of what you did to me. I gave you my heart. And you dropped it. Now you claim you've lost it. I fear I won't get it back. Not this time. I can't find it in the milky way. Or in the oceans deepest trench. I've circled the sun. And yet you still don't want me. I still can't find you. I will find myself in heaven. With no soul to sacrifice. Left outside of it's gates. With no wings. Because when you took my heart and stompped it. You took everything away from me. You left me here hopeless. Blind. And alone. All because you're selfish ways. And forgetful days.
