You never said good-bye
Even when I prayed
I thought you would be back but I never saw your face again
It was the first day of school
You said you would be their
When I got off the bus
No where in sight did I find you
Then something happened
I got a, you’ll understand later talk
About a week later
A letter marked Cheshire correctional center
You never even said goodbye
Even when 2 years passed
You never bothered to say goodbye
I just want to know why
- YOU NEVER SAID GOODBYE
