Like a Plea

Turn around
and see them everywhere
its not just a coincidence
that you have the same
deep but guarded look in your eyes
or the posture of a timid child
although you are no longer a kid
it's not just a coincidence
because they did the same to you, as they did to him
I ask you a favor
it's more like a plea
don't leave this world just yet
don't abandon us here with them
help us
you are the only ones who know how
to overcome their evil
you are the ones with the answers
you just don't know it yet
