frozen roses comatose

you lay there in your comatose
as you watch the petals fall off your lovers rose
petal by petal they fall free and fast
it reminds you of how everything you've had never lasts
wandering aimlessly as the flower wilts
...you pick up a swords cold lifeless hilt
now the lifeless has taken a life that it now does shroud
and now your looking at yourself from above the clouds
