All Consuming Fire
Darkness deep, darkness damp
Smother the light of a living lamp
Set forth upon this lonesome earth
A beast known to no human’s hearth
A living fire that sheds no light
A fire that blinds all known sight
Generals of right stand against
But quickly they be silenced
The holy hearted hold the flame
This battle little more than a game
A witch’s gaze knows the course
And soon horse eats horse
Innocents hide in fear this night
Knowing all too well the coming fight
To hear the beasts cry they hope
Ended swiftly by the hangman’s rope
The mighty flame consumes all
Leading to its own deadly fall
