Break Free
Birds aren’t suppose to be in cages
They deserver to roam free
My mind is my cage
It keeps me locked up
My mind is blocked by walls
That have been built for protection
But crumbles soon after
It plays tricks and games on me
People fool it easily
My mind is an open wound
For all my inner anger
Lies within it
The stress taunts my mind
There is no adventure for this mind
This mind is lifeless
Overcome with worries and anxiety
When is it going to become easy
Will I ever learn
Will my mind heal
A crack of light shimmers in my dark mind
There is hope
But shortly after
Every good thing must come to an end
Everything I almost have
Is taken away for me
You feel invisible
All the silly little tricks your mind played
Gone
You have broken free
