Learning to Fly
Maybe if you hold me close
We can forget why we’re here
Maybe if you kiss me now
We’ll push out all this fear
And maybe if we ignore this long enough
 It’ll all just go away
 The maybes are so impossible
But maybe for now I can stay
But darling, I think I have to leave
 I’m learning how to fly
I’m done with staying on the ground
When I know secrets of the sky
The voices whisper to me, they call my name
They beg me not to stay
 Maybe just ignoring this
 Won’t help us anyway.
