Tiger
stripe of orange and black,
stalking it's prey, pacing there and back.
big piercing eyes,
cuts through the dark night sky.
sharp claws of bone,
has clawed their way up to deaths thrown.
coming out where there is shadow,
and in day seeking shelter from a jungel made chateau.
and in times of rest,
he hides away his mighty chest.

I really like this- it's very creative and there's a lot of imagery. I hardly ever see anything about animals (like tigers) and it's nice to know sombody has appreciation for the other things in life. =]
Although, the rhythm is a little off. I think you were trying hard to make it rhyme, and didn't really think about the rhythm much, though I think if some words are added, it would be great. Keep writing! =]
