Soft spoken words glide from your lips
tendrils of phrases take another twist

Words that clear to a break at my ears
everything that confirms my fears

Nothing more can confirm my own lies
more than the truth in your eyes

The sun moves down one more flight
As it does every descending night
Can you handle my spite
the more you fall out of my sight.

Soft spoken words that glide from your lips
The lies you spoke, still make my heart skip.
