Children are running around in their snow boots.
The heat bill is now through the roof.
Outside it’s just to cool.
Ice now covers your pool.
If your wear shorts then you are a fool.
Hot chocolate fills the air.
Ice sickles are everywhere.
Blankets wrapped around you to keep you nice and warm.
The night chill cuts straight through you.
My favorite Christmas movie is playing.
Christmas music can be heard everywhere.
Christmas lights glow in the night.
The turkey is baking in the morning light.
Christmas cards are in the mail.
Last minute shopping, looking for the best deals.
The countdown in a daily thing.
Hopefully that snow won’t turn to hail.
The fire warms the house.
I’m snuggles up on the couch.
Roasting marshmallows in the living room.
It’s a nice smell to come home to.
