Who Knew?
Who knew I’d ever be going away?
It’s breaking my heart in such a trivial way.
Breaking it new, making it fresh,
My feet clench the ground and my hands clench your flesh.
A walking adventure, a seed in my mind,
Stomping through gravel, who knows what I’ll find.
I swim through the fields,
My heart is my armor, nothing can phase me.
It all sinks in, permeating my skin,
Nothing is new.
Nothing is fresh.
I’m crawling in circles.
