Regret
She wraps her heated palms over my face,
I blush red realization like patches of lace.
What I did cannot be undone,
she smirks at a battle that she has won.
Every second passes like a year,
waiting for something that I should hear.
No "sorrys" have I yet released,
only my breathing have I ceased.
I stare, I wait, I walk away,
time passes then comes another day.
She stays with me Regret is her name,
nevermore will she be tamed.
