The Lover's Lies

The savage beast, lured the once secluded heart out into the open.
The fierce creature forced it through the meandering paths, into a world made of sin.
The heart caved as it gave into the demon.
It regretfully smiled and joined in on the erroneous fun.
But once the creature exposed it's self for the true, cruel monster it was.
The heart backed into a corner away from the fiends foul breath and sharp claws.
Trapped in the corner, the heart wilted and died.
All of this because of the fake lover's lies.
