Bittersweet
What is love?
For such innocence has been stained;
Look—look at what you’ve become.
Unspoken words remain cold.
Shall I put this fragment into the concealed heart of yours?
Played by the whispers, clouded by blasphemy;
Look—look at what you’ve become.
I raised these arms to you,
For you are the ruthless light of my world
And your soul is yet to be gone.
How pitiful— a pretender lost in fury,
Phrasing the trance of calamity.
Let me cry these silent prayers out,
Or shall I declare my resentful confessions?
Demise softly caresses me.
Haunted by your shadow, fearing their eyes—
Let me love you with this abhorrence.
Living by your captivating absence,
Will the Almighty allow me to glance at His sanctuary?
Beneath this surreal sky, I shall share my inquiry:
Have you ever known me at all?
