Earthquake
The booming of the falling cities,

 Keeps you up

 From the scares,

 You feel the shake

 Of the quake,

 That came through last night.

 Why was it delayed?

 Why won’t it fade?

 Can’t you see I’m rotting?

 From the inside out.

Won’t you brush my tears away?

 But, no, you just watch,

 The city sway.

 Like it’s breathing,

 In and out,

 Falling, over,

 So now it’s stout,

Not as tall as it once was.

 Crying those broken tears,

 Looking at destruction,

You finally get that gang to come,

 No idea where they’re from.
