Can I Tell You
Can I tell you
What it feels like to be out in the cold?
 Hearing no one
 But the whisper of wind.
Can I tell you how many holes
Have been ripped in this blanket?
 Like society
 Ripped me from its web
Can I tell you how it pains
 To see advertisements
 A life of others
 But not yours?
 It's luck, they say.
 But they can't sell luck
No one can tell me how it feels
 Except a bowl of
 Warm tomato soup
