When you say things like that
My spirit continues to fade
You resurrect the insecurities
That I try so hard to keep buried
You’re the reason
That I find it so hard to trust.
Day after day I block it out
Forcing it down.
I don’t care anymore
If you talk,
I’ll talk right back.
I will no longer push it down.
I will speak my mind
I will take action.
