My Daddy
Daddy if you can hear me there’s something I’d like to
Say I’m your little girl that came along long after you
Went away
So you never got to know me
But I feel so close to you
Because you married my mommy
And she always talks of you
She said you would have loved me
And treated me as your own
Daddy mommy adopted me long after you were gone
And my big brother Clarence he looks a lot like you
He tries to do the things for me
He knows that you would do
And my two older sisters were together quiet a lot
You’re the only one that’s missing dad
And that’s what breaks my heart
So we’ll always think of you
And hope someday we can be together
Because Daddy I love you.
