I am a voice;
Not the kind that sings-
Nor the kind that dances,
But the kind that writes.
My voice is a book;
Not the kind that you can read-
Nor the kind that has pictures,
But the kind that holds a life.
My voice is a book of my life;
A collection of stories
That unfolds as I met you.
And my voice has power.
My voice has the power
That Dr. King’s did-
His changed a nation,
And I think I can do the same,
Because I am a voice…
