“The moment you think you understand a great work of art, it's dead for you.”
~Oscar Wilde
I must lie down where all the ladders start
In the foul rag and bone shop of the heart.
~William Butler Yeats

Though we’ve fled deep into the night
The sun has left us blind
So we must learn to tread in fright
Of what we know we’ll find
And in the dark we’ll wait and hide
We’ll slowly lose our minds
And when our monsters come outside
We’ll leave ourselves behind.

This is a poem about the "monsters", "demons", "ghosts" and "skeletons" which haunt the past of every individual.
