Temptation
Can we believe that you’re not here?

 Shedding that silent tear,

Calling out to hear you’re voice,

 Making a different choice,

 What will happen?

 When we die?

 Lifting off,

 Into the sky.

 Flying high,

 Blackness shrouds,

 Creating a cloak,

 That hides the sounds.

 Of temptation

 You whistle,

 Loud and clear,

 As you see the eyes

 Of the deer.

 You laugh off,

 That cold sensation,

 Of you falling,

 To temptation.

 Sitting on your bed,

 You want to laugh,

 But cry instead.

 Running like a deer,

 Hiding from your fear;

 You can’t escape,

 The net has fallen.

 You fight to get clear,

 But still end up in dear;

 As the night fully encloses,

 Around your silent figure.

You look up to the stars,

 Twinkling glass shards.

 You know you can’t escape,

 The temptation.

 Sighting the small spot,

 Against the dark blue sky,

 You see the friendly hawk,

 Guiding you away,

 From temptation.
