I cry myself to sleep,
Wondering when you’ll be with me.
Me being me, I want you here with your arms around me.
I want you to love me for me,
Not who you want me to be,
I want to love you for you,
Not what I want you to be,
Because all I want is YOU.
To be here holding me in your arms,
Not in my IMAGINATION,
But for REAL.
