Reflection or Deflection
I stare at my reflection, one that has changed many and one that is because of many
I look at who I’ve come to be
Seconds, minutes, hours pass by
Yet I still have no clue as to
who I am
my curly hair shows flexibility and a kind of fullness that might be me
my eyes are the color of dark chocolate
Innocent and ill-perceived
My hands are still learning
Always learning
Getting faster and faster with every deed
It is my feet that give the slightest hint of wear
And it is my feet that keeps me going in the toughest of times
Moving me to everywhere
I am phoenix bound to soar high
So build me up or burn me down it doesn't matter for
No flames can contain me
No hate can hold me back
I am destroyed by you only to be rebuilt by me or someone else
With less falter in my flight
And more hints to what it is my reflection really is
