Yeah, Right
There are no war zones,
there are no burning buildings,
or people dying,
every word is true,
and the only emotion is happy,
no one's crying,
cameras only capture beauty,
not riots,
or blank, empty eyes,
life is perfect,
no one's murdered,
every citizen loves their government,
but every word I've written is a lie,
I hope when you read this,
you reply, "Yeah, right."

i loved this poem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and my reply is
"yeah, right"
exactly: yeah, right.
good poem, the flow could use a little work but staccato is sometimes a good thing :) good meaning, too. very true. great job!
