Masks
I stare into all your mirror eyes
seeing every single disguise
every single carefully painted mask
I put on for your amusement
A cracked smile
and that look on my face
Like i want to die
Is not what you all wish to see
All these million painted faces
are staring back at me
All these cracked smiley faces
I'm a circus clown
look at me
A whirl pool of dark hope
An ocean of desperation
A girl hidden under all her million disguises
and a boy trying to climb out of the hateful hole
He some how found himself falling face first in
Its so perfect I might cry
or run in the opposite direction
I really can't decide
So i just throw on another mask
walk right up to him and ask
hateful boy
what do you see?
