Shadows cover my eyes
from the truth
The retched truth that
will destroy me
One day, when the shadows are gone
and the sunshine is anew
I will see life for what it really is
for it is a heartless thing, this life
The past betrayal will shine bright in my sky
and revenge will seek its defeat
