A Dreamer's Landscape
I've never fallen asleep
Itching to wake from my slumber
And I've never opened up
My eyes, in pleasant expectation
Likewise, my smile kept
Guarded from the outside forces,
Simply as if I had no such
Affinity, for such trivial matters
I've never claimed to be
A dreamer, only when I'm sleeping
But with this realization
It appears I live in hallucinations
But dreams are far better
In their soft Monet landscapes
Tumultuous shades of blue
That entice this wanderer forever
