sitting in the attic
afraid to open the door
fighting and bloodshed
i can hear it
frightened and fearful i am
behind that closed door

i wonder if i will ever get my chance, one chance to make things right
will they let me
sitting alone wondering how to accomplish
to make things right
behind that closed door

finally building up the courage
to make a move
to make a change
because no longer am i sitting
behind that closed door

The author's comments:
This is something i extracted from my imagination. I sat in my room listening to a song that was depressing, but in most times the depressing songs have the strongest meanings. Anyways i was thinking about child abuse and i came up with this story that i wanted to be put into a poetic format. I tried hard and i hope that you will like the result.

wow! i always seem to pick music to fit the mood of what i am writing! as always, i am not into poetry, but ur the single exception. if you write enough poetry you could basically make a poetry book.

the only thing, as i mentioned before to you, just fix the CAPITALIZATION, like the 'I's and every line should be capitlized:) other than that its really good:)
