I promised myself
I wouldn't cry
I promised I'd be strong
But I've been holding back the tears
For so very long
I've spent my whole life
Trying to please
But failing in attempt
I've learned I can't please everyone
For we all have different contents
I think I've spent
Too much time
Comforting everyone else
Who is here
To dry my tears?
Who is here
To chase my fears?
So I'm sorry if I can't be perfect
Average is where I stand
But I guess you'll all
Just have to learn
To accept me as I am
