I Feel
Our fingers twine together
Shy yet decided
I feel
Hall carpet beneath my feet
The silky sheets are cool and welcoming
Like waves lapping at the shore of our passion
Soothing our fevered skin
You brush my trembling lips with yours
My arms wrap tentatively around your neck
Our kisses deepen
The roughness of your face abrades, you grip my arms
But the sensation falls just short enough of pain
To be pleasure
We twine together
And I feel
The stars explode into fireworks
And there’s no going back
