Frozen
Drops of rain fall in front of me
Their icy feel pierces my skin
I recall you dancing without an umbrella
And turn away in disgust, finding shelter
I hate the rain
The smell of wet dust, the smell of your clothes
They’re the same
I wish everyday was sunny and warm
You left in December, your heart as cold as the morning
I hate winter
The frost on my windows at dawn
My breath makes it worse
Reminds me of the words you drew in the car
You and I, I love you, forever; gone
I hate the fog
And the winter
And the rain
